ROOTED… is an ongoing pop-up workshop series presented by Apricot Productions.
The series inclusively addresses the needs of local Berlin community members – artists, dancers, cultural workers, body-based practitioners, essential laborers, and teachers.

At its ROOT, ROOTED… is about our desire as a community
for connectivity and for groundedness.
ROOTED… uses the imagery of trees. Rooted in the Earth,
trees offer sustenance, growth, and a network of stability to support the forest.
Our intention for this ongoing series is to provide opportunities to
expand through shared resources and experiences.
Join us for our first pop-up workshop, ROOTED:ARRIVAL
The first pop-up workshop series from ROOTED will take place at Lake Studios Berlin on June 9.-11. 2023 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Choreographers Pau Aran and Jessica Gaynor team up for ROOTED: ARRIVAL
This three-day workshop is for emerging professional dancers looking for groundedness as they enter the working world. Recent graduates from training programs are encouraged to join!
Aran and Gaynor will create a ‘pop-up piece’, which will be filmed and photographed, with professional lighting on the last day of the workshop and later distributed to the participants for personal use.
