ROAR Berlin is a study program focused on the development of hybrid approaches in the field of movement art. Each year we invite a selected group of international participants to join a 3-month curriculum, with the intent of igniting a transformative process of experimentation through guided group research.

The program is organised in daily movement practices (1,5 hrs.), followed by afternoon modules (4 hrs.)
This year, the program will take place as a 4-week special format.
This year’s edition will comprise of four modules, each one week long, led by ROAR core teachers: Shannon Stewart, Anna Nowicka, Sonja Pregrad, and Maria Francesca Scaroni. Each module will open a space of embodied and discursive practice rooted in the mentors’ field of inquiry – making and breaking meaning in relation to queer theory & ecology; dreams; drag, somatic & poetry; and pleasure calisthenics.

Costs for participants:
The fee is 1.110€ when paid in one sum, or 1.300€ when paid in three instalments.
