RIDCC invites choreographers from around the globe to submit their duets for the 7th edition of the world’s largest duet competition, taking place from June 11–14, 2025, at Theater Rotterdam.

In June 2025, choreographic talent from around the world will travel to Rotterdam for the seventh edition of the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition (RIDCC). Sixteen participants, selected by our pre-jury, will present their duets live on stage to audiences in Rotterdam and via our livestream to viewers worldwide. Out of these sixteen talented choreographers, the jury will select the winner of the XL Production Award, while the RIDCC partners will choose the winners of the Partner Awards from among all sixteen participants.
RIDCC provides choreographers with unique opportunities to enter the professional dance field. We aspire to be the ultimate springboard for choreographic talent. During RIDCC, participants will have the chance to share their work with the international dance community. Additionally, RIDCC offers a variety of workshops, including a light design workshop, masterclasses, network meetings, personal feedback, coaching sessions and a photoshoot.
