RAW Moves is pleased to open our annual call for local and international artists to submit proposals for the 7th edition of RawGround (RG) based on the theme of “(Un)finished Work: In pursuit of the work of forgetting…”.

RAW Moves is pleased to announce the 7th edition of RawGround (RG), our annual platform inviting local and international artists to create and share new short films. The next edition of RawGround will take place in January 2027 in Singapore.

RawGround presents a curated mini film showcase that sparks dialogue and challenges perceptions of social norms. We invite unorthodox, conceptual narratives that redefine movement and expand the possibilities of contemporary art.

Applicants are invited to conceptualise and create two new original short films, responding to this edition’s theme of “(Un)finished Work: In pursuit of the work of forgetting…”.

Please have the following information on hand to complete the form:

1. Brief description of conceptual idea, design and storyboard (optional).
2. Explain how the idea relates to the theme and why you think your film topic is relevant and important.
3. Brief description of the workshop idea, format and objectives.
4. Profile(s), CV(s) or portfolio(s) of participating artist(s).
5. Any supporting documents as deemed fit—such as, but not limited to – references, photos, proposal boards with graphics and sketches.
6. Submissions must be original, newly created works developed specifically for this project. Previously presented or existing works will not be considered.
