Choreographers aged 18-45 at the time of application are invited to apply for Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Prize – 16th edition, author Choreography Contest.

The Municipality of Padua Culture Council, in collaboration with Arteven Circuito Multidisciplinare Regionale, announces the 16th Prospettiva Danza
Teatro International Competition, created and directed by Laura Pulin.
Choreographers aged 18-45 at the time of application may participate to the artistic project. The finalists will participate
at Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Prize 2026 in Padua at G. Verdi Theatre.
The winner will receive a prize consisting of 5,000 (five thousand) Euros pre-tax, a week of choreographic residency in Padua and
a week of choreographic residency in Catania – Scenario Pubblico Centro di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale per la Danza.

How to apply:
In order to compete, the candidate must fill in the application on www.prospettivadanzateatro.it not later than 9th March 2025. Incomplete documentation will not be admitted.
In particular:
1. Title and a short description of the project
2. Link to the presentation video of your work (Youtube or Vimeo)
3. Curriculum vitae of the choreographer(s), of all the artistic collaborators and of all the performers on stage (who cannot be younger than 18 years old).
It’s possible to submit projects that have been performed publicly in the form of a study or in progress. Should the project win the prize, it must be developed into a full evening show (minimum 40 minutes) and performed for the first time in Veneto region during the 2026 edition of Festival Prospettiva Danza Teatro. All the ones participating in the groups selected for the final rounds must produce a certificate of good health for the date of the Final.
