Come and join us at Cultural Centre Bruegel (Brussels) for a contemporary dance workshop!

Where: Centre Culturel Bruegel, Rue des Renards 1F, Brussels, Belgium

When: December 17 & 18 – from 6.30pm to 8.30pm

For our next dance workshops, we invite you to discover the work and artistic universe of Zoltan Vakulya, Brussels-based freelance dancer and choreographer. As a dancer/performer/creator he has worked with choreographers/composers/visual artists such as Hodworks, Mal Pelo, Wim Vandekeybus, Kendell Geers, David Zambrano, Federica Porello, Hód Adrienn, Benjamin Vandewalle, Vera Tussing, Albert Quesada, Radouan Mrziga, etc.

In Play/Full, Zoltan will share with you a collection of practices and ideas about how he approaches improvised contemporary dance. The workshop will be built on the idea of awakening the senses and listening towards your body and to your surrounding, fellow dancers. Then we are going to focus on our hearing and connect to the sound of music which will be a major source of inspiration. As we go along, we will partner up with other dancers, creating a contemporary ballroom to challenge and support each other in dance.
Expect challenges in both mind and body, dancing on a wide spectrum of music styles solo and with a partner, and sweating. Lots of sweating!

To register, fill in the following form:

Costs for participants: 25€ per class – 45€ for both classes
