“It is based on our individual methods we have been exploring in our artistic stage work and improvisation training over the last 15 years, in which we have created own original performances and were practicing improvisation on stage with such Masters as Katie Duck, Iwona Olszowska, David Zambrano, Nancy Stark Smith, among others. Certainly their influence resonates in our creative cells. Our trio shared one important experience which was the creation by David Zambrano – the Soul Project PL – remake of Zambrano’s thrilling performance, in this case, directed only for and with polish dancers. This shared process we went through, give us a joint root for own intense practice we offer to the world. We stand for raising autonomous field for improvisation dance art, research new forms for composition and aim to grow and strengthen its role between performing arts worldwide. “

PIP will be led by three polish dance-artists, choreographers, experienced improvisers and supportive mentors: Paweł Grala, Małgorzata Haduch and Piotr Skalski. They transmit own knowledge and offer an experience in an atmosphere of mutual support of sparkling creativity, deep practice, individual approach to each participant and share wide understanding of the art of improvisation.

We train 4 days 6 hours per day, evening performances in local site specific venues. Detailed schedule of the classes available on request via email.
