Patras Art Festival – PAF is returning for its third consecutive year 1 – 8 July 2023, along with the new section prePAF 24 – 25 June 2023! PAF’s program consist of performances, lives, dj sets, video dance, craft fair, street food, silent disco and workshops for everyone, allowing the public to experience a diverse range of productions and events. Patras Art Festival – PAF is a multidisciplinary festival of arts that is centered around contemporary dance, but also includes parallel thematic activities and art forms. PAF is the place of expression, creation and a bridge that unites the artistic influences of Greece and abroad in the field of performing and visual arts. It is the Festival that connects and acquaints the audience with the art of dance and the experience of the body in motion, while also providing a platform for artistic expression across a variety of disciplines. PAF promotes universal accessibility to culture, by making its events and activities available to all members of society. It is the place where people from all walks of life can come together to experience artistic creation, action and production from various artists and art forms. PAF fosters a spirit of cross-cultural dialogue and exchange, by bringing artists and audiences together from different nations, social groups, and age ranges. It is the festival that celebrates the power of art to bring people together and to inspire positive social change.
Under this years thematic “Exist Loudly”, will offer a fantastic opportunity for people to experience different aspects of art. This year’s program consist of international and local performances, live concerts, dj sets, videodance, craft fair, street food, silent disco and contemporary dance and circus workshops for adults, dance workshops for kids ages 5-12yrs, movement workshop for 50+ and movement workshop for disabilities, allowing the public to experience a diverse range of productions and events.
The festival will undoubtedly provide new and unprecedented emotions for those who attend.
33 international and local artists, 10 days, 3 different spots in the city Patras Art Festival will be the highlight for the summer of 2023 with events that are bold, expressive and daring!
