Starting last year, DŠT has become a centre that offers a complex series of artistic residencies. The aim is to provide the appropriate space and professional conditions for the creation of artists in the field of contemporary dance or physical theater. In addition to a technically equipped space, DŠT also provides the professional support needed to cultivate one’s own practice and self-development.
Residencies at DŠT are an excellent opportunity for the creative process of artistic groups, individuals, organizations and workers in cultural organizations in auxiliary positions (e.g. technical, management, production, marketing, etc.).
The residency programme is divided into several sections, based on the experience of 2022, as well as the personal experience of the DŠT team. The programme is built to cover the needs of artists from Slovakia and abroad, attracting established groups as well as novice artists.

Applications for residencies will be assessed by the DŠT dramaturgical board and, if necessary, will also be consulted with other experts and colleagues.

Each program has different condition. We offer honorarium, artist pay other production cost (please reed condition on our website).
