For the 4th edition of the ALTREFRONTIERE International Dance Festival, we decided to offer a young choreographer the opportunity to bring his work to the stage by offering him a free week of training!

ALTREFRONTIERE takes place in the middle of nature in Tuscany from 31 July to 11 August 2023.
Each week there will be two contemporary dance courses and a dance-theatre workshop held by internationally renowned artists. At the end of each week there will be concluding evenings with performances.
OPEN CALL FOR YOUNG CHOREOGRAPHERS
∝ To participate in our Open Call all you have to do is fill in our google form
https://forms.gle/hQQCnr2d1kLAYnbj7 and email us your CV and the video link (youtube or vimeo) of your solo to altrefrontiere@dmateatrodanza.it . In the “notes” section write “open call”.
We accept dance and dance-theatre performances with a duration between 7 and 25 minutes maximum.
The performance must be adaptable to an open space (amphitheatre) or dance studio.
The deadline for sending in your application is 21 July.
The selected candidate will be able to attend all classes during the second week from 7 to 11 August free of charge. The performance will be staged on Friday 11 August.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the candidate.
∝ ALTRE GRANT
To celebrate ALTREFRONTIERE 2023 we also want to give dancers with financial difficulties the chance to take part in our festival.
We will award three scholarships of €165, offering the second week of classes at almost half price. The scholarships will be awarded in order of enrolment.
