Instant Composition has a tradition in Freiburg that goes back to the 80s and for which it is internationally renowned.
In improvisation as a stage art – and as such the ART OF THE MOMENT – a piece is created before the eyes of the audience.
The festival brings international renowned artists on stage and there will be workshops (over 2 days, 3hrs each day). Every evening there will be two performances.

This year’s onCe festival will let different art forms of instant composition blossom: dance, live music, action theater, writing and contact improvisation.
Please note: A workshop consists of two sessions of three hours each and takes place over two days.
