The first O.D.C. / Opus Dance Circuit 2016/2017, the course of study and research proposed from Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet is drawing to a close. After the previous successful events with Emanuel Gat, Natalia Iwaniec and Ivan Perez, the Centre proposes as last appointment the workshop with the Spanish choreographer German Jauregui. The workshop will take place from the 1st till the 5th of May for three hours a day and its open to pre-professional and professional dancers who wish to practice and deepen today’s body language in a situation of close contact with the choreographer.

German Jauregui, of Spanish origin but based in Belgium, is a choreographer, dancer and teacher. Since 1998 from 2008 he performs with the company Ultima Vez directed by Win Vandekeybus, participating in the creation of numerous productions (“In spite of wishing and wanting”, “Inasmuch as life is borrowed”, “Blush”, “Soni Boom”, “Puur” e “Spiegel”), as well as in short-films and video of the same. Between the 2014 and the 2015 he is on tour with the production “What the body does not remember”. Furthermore German collaborates with Loic Touze, Idoia Zabaleta / Moare danza, Eolo Teatro and Deabru Beltza for international projects. Currently, beside its collaboration with Ultima Vez, he works as choreographer, freelance dancer and teacher in many seminar around the world.
