Nuova Officina Della Danza is thrilled to announce NUOVA X, a novel program directed by choreographer Tom Weinberger, in collaboration with NOD.

Where: NOD Nuova Officina della Danza , Via Mantova 34 Torino, Italy

When: September 5 – November 25

Limited spots available.

Nuova X is an educational creative program designed to function on high intensity. Three months, five days a week, four hours per day. The program offers the opportunity for a pre – selected group of dancers to embark on two in-depth creations with two different choreographers. Each creation period stretches over five weeks, inviting a meeting point to cultivate creative stamina, a flexible mind, and the necessary tools to become a more skilful collaborator inside a creative context.

The program’s emphasis is on giving ample time for a meaningful process, providing the opportunity to dive into and learn from the choreographers’ methodologies and creative practices.

Our goal is to cultivate an environment for a mindful educational journey, creatingroom to raise questions and space to challenge our physical and performative skills, while encouraging vulnerability and growth.

At the end of each trimester a studio showing will be held, giving the participants a platform to share the works in progress with the community.

All are welcome regardless of ethnicity, gender or sexual preference.
