In the case of residency abroad, you will be asked to have a medical certificate issued by an Italian doctor here upon your arrival, stating that you are in good health. This will be at your expense.

Pedro Goucha Gomes was born in Lisbon, Portugal and is currently based in The Netherlands. He is an independent dancer, teacher and choreographer. At the age of nine Pedro initiated his dance education at the school of the National Ballet of Portugal and in 1991 he graduated from the National Ballet
School in Toronto, Canada.
He has danced with the Stuttgart Ballet, the Deutsche Oper Berlin (Soloist), Nacho Duato’s Compañia Nacional de Danza (Principal dancer) and the Netherlands Dance Theatre. With these companies, Pedro has performed among other theatres at the Palais Garnier in Paris, the Lincoln Center in New York, the
Acropolis of Athens and the Liceu in Barcelona.
Between 2007 and 2012 he was a resident choreographer at the Korzo Theatre in Den Haag, where he created and experimented with several choreographic and installation formats. In order to complement his choreographic explorations, Pedro studied History of Art for 3 years at the British Open University. Besides
having worked extensively with the Korzo Theatre he has also choreographed for companies such as the Goteborg Dance Company and the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, among others.
Pedro is a regular guest teacher with several international schools, open dance studios and companies such as Pina Bausch Tanztheater Wuppertal, GöteborgsOperans Dance Company, Scapino Ballet, Norwegian National Ballet, CODARTS, ArchiTanz, HJF Amsterdam, among others. He also teaches contemporary and somatic workshops internationally.
Parallel to his creative and pedagogic work, Pedro is a Somatic Movement Practitioner (Somatic Movement Institute of the Netherlands) and is currently finishing his studies at the Feldenkrais Institute in Madrid.
Maria Chiara Mezzadri was born in Monza, Italy and is currently based in The Netherlands. She freelances as dancer, teacher, choreographic assistant and is part of the bord of directors of ‘Ferrara Off Teatro’ in Ferrara, Italy.
She has graduated in 2003 from the Ballet School of the State Opera in Vienna, Austria and has ever since danced with several companies, such as Europa Danse, the Netherlands Dance Theater 2, the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and the GöteborgsOperans Dance Company. In these companies, she has created and
performed numerous works of Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Peeping Tom, Sharon Eyal, Saburo Teshigawara, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Marie Chouinard, Stijn Celis and Ina Chistel Johannessen, among others.
Since July 2016 she is guesting for Saburo Teshigawara and his company Karas and has been involved in his creations for the Chaillot National Theater in Paris, the Lincoln Center in New York and the Metropolitan Theater in Tokyo. She is also a guest artist for the Wuppertal Tanz Theater and has been performing the ‘Rite
of Spring’ by Pina Bausch at BAM, Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York and Ottawa, Canada.
Maria Chiara has been teaching both classical ballet and contemporary dance workshops, and also movement classes for amateurs Ferrara Off, NOD Nuova Officina della Danza, Codarts, Dansateliers.
Parallel to her dancing and teaching works, she has obtained her Bachelor of Science (First-class Honours) in ‘International Studies’ at the Open University, UK and speaks fluently six languages.
