Summer time at NOD is on, come to dance with Emilie Leriche.
#cometonod and become a part of a global network by engaging in an experience that shapes you and prepares you for the future.
Where: NOD Nuova Officina della Danza, Via Mantova 34 Torino – Italy
When: Week 2 – July 8 -12
We will open up the creative landscape of our bodies and the space between us.
With a mix of playfulness and curiosity we will focus on the natural weight of the body, the limbs, and how we might impact or disrupt these various parts of ourselves. Finding ways to allow movement to flow continuously through form, moving -with ease- from one place to the next, while opening up our capacity to at any moment redirect, disagreed, or alter the inherent course of our limbs.
With a heavy focus on floor work, improvisation, and our connection to the ground, we will also turn our attention outward to each other through partnering methods and group work.
Our focus being to create a seamless and cohesive connection between ourselves and a group, our body and someone else’s. I’m interested in cultivating a creative exchange among the movers in the space; one can expect to be pushed physically but in a supportive and curious atmosphere. Together, we will create a space that is both focused, light-hearted, and with a strong emphasis on exploration and play.
