Horacio Macuacua, Idio Chichava (cie Converge+) and Edivaldo Ernesto are very happy to present Mugangueni International Dance Training, a two-week intensive dance training in Mozambique with classes by David Zambrano, Horacio Macuacua and Edivaldo Ernesto, along with local artists.

The format we propose for Mugangueni – International Dance Training is very special. It is definitely not the usual workshop. Mugangueni is happening in Mozambique, Africa with brilliant international maestros of performance David Zambrano, Horacio Macuacua and Edivaldo Ernesto, who are sharing their teachings for the first time in this kind of setting, along with reknown local artists. Mugangueni is a very intense physical dance and performance training, and it is also about sharing, art, culture and life. Seven hours of dance classes every day from Monday to Friday – morning and afternoon, with a lunchbreak during the hotter hours. The classes consist in music, rhythm and body percussion classes with Lenna Bahule and Rostalina Dimand; and Horacio Macuacua, Idio Chichava and Edivaldo Ernesto share their approach to dance and performance, leaving the main time to the teachings of maestro David Zambrano, one of the most significant figures in dance for more than 25 years…
