This workshop is an invitation to explore and encounter the sky and the forest within our body-mind, discovering unlimited movements and textures within us, and transforming the personal journey into a universal poem.

Where: Tictac Art Centre, Brussels, Belgium

When: January 5 – 30, Time: 10:00 – 17:30

“Vast empty space and innumerable splendour qualities”
In Japanese arts such as ink painting, Haiku, Ikebana, Noh, and Butoh, what moves us is not only form but the vast sense of empty space—alive with countless subtle qualities. This emptiness reveals not a cultural style but a universal truth of existence through art.

Our daily lives often unfold within invisible cages shaped by education, habit, or tradition, concealing the richness within us. Yet, like a forest under the sky, infinite forms and movements live quietly inside each being.

This workshop invites both professionals and beginners to explore the principles of body–mind–space that underlie all creation.
Through a process of returning to neutrality, exploring movement, and transforming perception, participants will awaken the body’s innate diversity and presence.

First two weeks: Basic trainings
Last two weeks: Creation of solo performances
Performance evenings January 29 and 30
