MOSAICK is an interdisciplinary collective of the live coders Lizzie Wilson and Alex McLean, the performers and choreographers Deva Schubert and Juan Felipe Amaya Gonzalez, and the e-textile designer Mika Satomi. We recently showcased an early version of our work at No Bounds Festival in Sheffield, UK. For our upcoming performance next year, we have an open position in dramaturgy. We are looking for someone who is excited to work on an interdisciplinary performance that deals with the topic of AI through esoterics and occultism. The ideal candidate will have experience in both performance and dance, as well as an interest in technology. They should also be willing to work with a diverse collective of artists. As the dramaturgue, your tasks will include contextualizing the performance within a theoretical framework, writing and proofreading press and artistic materials, serving as an outside eye on the work, and providing your own artistic input and opinion. You should also be prepared to push the artists to take radical decisions. The working period is expected to be March 2023 with regular short meetings from mid December onwards, with a performance date still to be determined. This job position is paid and the rate negotiable according to the availability of the candidate.
