This three-day workshop is a chance to discover the choreographic and technical practice of the award-winning choreographer Mathieu Geffré‘s through class, creative sessions.

This workshop is open to professional dance practitioners as well as students in vocational training. It is a great opportunity to explore and enrich your practice in response to Mathieu‘s technical research and choreographic approach.
Graduated from the Paris Conservatoire, Mathieu Geffré has danced in France, Holland and the United Kingdom with numerous leading choreographers including Itzik Galili, Didy Veldman, Theo Clinkard, Stephen Shropshire among others. Award-winning choreographer, he has been invited to present his work in Wales, England, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Spain and New York. He created Mathieu Geffré Dance in 2017 and since then has been commissioned by many organisations in the UK. Mathieu Geffré‘s work has been shaped in response to his performing experience: highly physical yet meaningful, it is rooted in the desire to create emotional rendez vous in between the artists and the audience.

Each day will start with a twohour class followed by creative playground articulated around past and current explorations. This is a great chance for Mathieu to meet with new dancers and create new professional relationships.
