Deadline for applications: 6th of July 2025

This workshop is about establishing authorship over our art and our lives. Through an intricate movement awareness practice, we will access the body’s inherent intelligence to steer us towards states of optimal creativity and performance.

Select games of observation will reveal our habitual tendencies while offering us new possibilities, through which we can reclaim freedom of choice in both our thinking and our action. This process gives agency to the artist through self-directed choice-making, while developing our capacity for connection to ourselves, leaving us with a remarkable sense of well-being.

With the capacity to improve mental and emotional health and to significantly navigate blocks, both physically and mentally, this work is truly relevant for our times and is essential to any artistic practice. The Feldenkrais Method is a mastery of self-use.

Ami Shulman is a movement artist; choreographer, performer, educator, rehearsal director, feldenkrais practitioner, and intimacy coordinator.
