In 2023, the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris took second place in the QS World University Rankings for Performing Arts, which rewards the best worldwide performing arts universities.
The dance department of the Conservatoire offers an innovative graduate program entitled “Danseur-interprète : répertoire et création” as a rare opportunity to deepen your experience and exercise your inquisitive mind.

Deadline for applications: Pre-admission to the auditions is open from February 1st to March 12th, 2024.

This “Dance master” is dedicated to support and lead dancers with contemporary or ballet background to become plural high-performing dance artists. Study courses are built around four main lines: the Ensemble chorégraphique (junior ballet), research, public outreach, internships. It achieves the following goals:
•       Meeting prestigious choreographers, working on several esthetics, experimenting the life like in a professional company on tour and performing in France and abroad with the Ensemble chorégraphique.
•       Analysing your experience as a dancer through a research paper with the support of artist-researchers.
•        Sharing with a diverse public through outreach activities of your design.
•       Developing a deep knowledge of what’s at stake in the performing arts and in the work of performing artists during an internship in a professional company in France or abroad.
•       Collaborating with peers and peer institutions such as the Centre National de la Danse, the Chaillot National Theater, the Festival d’Automne in Paris, the Ateliers Médicis, and more.

How to apply:
This audition is open to dancers aged between 18 and 26 years old (as of October 1st 2025), who obtained their bachelor of dance or equivalent degree.
