The MA Contemporary Dance Performance at the University of Limerick has partnered with Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company to offer two company placements starting in September 2025.
This unique opportunity allows MA students to spend up to two semesters embedded with the company, integrating professional experience into their postgraduate studies.
The MA in Contemporary Dance Performance is a one-year, full-time program designed for dance artists seeking an immersive, studio-based exploration of performance, choreography, and creative practice. Students engage in workshops, masterclasses, ensemble choreographies, solo-making, Screendance, and more—while building industry connections through collaborations with professional companies and festivals.

To be accepted to complete part of your course via a company placement, you will be required to attend a separate in-person audition with Luail on 30 & 31 May 2025 in Dancehouse, Dublin.
