We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced and inspirational part-time dance teacher with a strong professional background in contemporary dance, to teach and lead the technical and creative curriculum on our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT).
The Trinity Laban CAT is part of a nationwide DfE scheme that aims to offer young people with exceptional talent and potential in dance, the opportunity to access high quality dance training. At Trinity Laban the young people attend classes all day Saturday and some evenings during the week. The male and female students are taught separately for contemporary dance technique but together for the creative programme. The CAT programme is part of the Learning and Participation (Dance) programme at Trinity Laban which offers a wide range of youth, schools and community projects, professional training and short courses.
The Lead Dance Teacher (CAT) will be responsible for planning, teaching and developing the contemporary and creative curriculum of the CAT programme, contributing as required to the tutorial and student support programme, Performance Enhancement, artistic programming and other complementary curriculum activities. In addition, they will assist with the planning and delivery of CAT open days, auditions and outreach projects.
