The Alleyne Dance workshop consists of a contemporary dance class, learning repertoire and a creative session.

Where: Tictac Art Centre, Brussels, Belgium

When: February 9 – 13, Time: 10:00 – 13:00

Alleyne Dance Masterclass is a physical session that involves strong, complex and technical sequences in and out of the ground and focuses on performance skills and endurance. There is room for improvisation for your own development. The intensive consists of a contemporary dance class, learning repertoire and a creative session.

This physically challenging session incorporates complex and demanding vocabulary to further develop participants’ performance skills, endurance and creative language. We play with the art of intention and authenticity of movement and examine how emotions change the material or can be used as impulses.

The desired outcomes for the session is to develop the dancers’ creative mind, driven from passion, determination, strength, musicality and most importantly an intention and honesty in whatever choice they make during the session.
