Come and join James Wilton and company dancers for a fast paced and fun three-day workshop, exploring the companies highly physical style fusing floor work with martial arts, acrobatics, and contact work.

Where: University of Brighton, John Fulton Hall, Hillbrow Building, Denton Road, Eastbourne, BN20 7SR., UK

When: 10th, 11th and 12th April 2019

Deadline for applications: 9th April 2019, 18.00pm

The intensive is open to professional dancers and students in dance training. The intensive will focus on researching and exploring ideas that Wilton is using for his next work, due to premiere in 2020.

Timetable for the days:

12.00-1.30: Floorwork class drawing influence from martial arts, capoeira, break dance and acrobatics.

1.30-1.45: Break

1.45-3.15: Repertoire

3.15-4.00 Lunch

4.00-6.00 Partner work creative tasks

Unfortunately accommodation is not provided, however the company can assist with accommodation searches where necessary. Please note that the nearest train station is Eastbourne, and the nearest airport is London Gatwick ( 1 hour train away).
