This workshop with Jakub Zeman, longterm Fighting Monkey trainer, is focused on fostering independence and ability to take responsibility for your own development. Participants will explore and experience new ideas about how rhythm improves their physical performance, their problem solving in games, the health of their organs and joints and how these different expressions of life are linked through rhythm. The workshop will help to understand the underlying principles of human motion and how stress and pressure affects our perception, behaviour and actions and how creatively adaptive you are in complex situations. Jakub Zeman will provide you with guidelines on how to increase the health of your spine, your joints and connective tissue in various contexts and how you can become more versatile in your approach to joint preparation and warm-ups prior to training and performance. He will challenge your speed, memory, ability to cooperate, coordinate and make decisions when everything goes wrong. He does this through movement that provokes improvised, sudden and unexpected connections that can break your limitations.
Fighting Monkey is an applied practice for human development through movement founded by Linda Kapetanea and Jozef Frucek with aim to understand the principles of the human movement, communication and the ageing process.
Costs for participants: 240,- EUR (Professionals)
