Irish National Youth Ballet wishes to appoint an Artistic Director / General Manager to lead the company following the untimely death of Katherine Lewis.

The person we are looking for will be a dynamic and driven person who can direct the company over the next phase of its development. The person selected will set the artistic agenda for the company, be a motivating teacher and mentor and programme the company’s performance seasons. The ideal candidate will come from a ballet performance background, will have a strong vision for the development of the company, have some experience in policy development and execution and be passionate about the growth of Ballet in Ireland.
The Artistic Director will represent the organisation nationally and internationally. As the company is in receipt of state funding the successful candidate will have a knowledge of application processes and procedures would be an advantage.
The part-time post is for a minimum of three years, based on a six-month probation period and an annual salary review. Annual salary €32,000.
