Deadline for applications: open until the festival

The FREI ART FESTIVAL – Spring Edition, in cooperation with the German Association for Dance Pedagogy, is hosting intensive workshops for dance educators and professionals. Choreographer and dancer Rainer Behr from the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch focuses on dance technique as the foundation for creative work.

Rainer Behr explores techniques that develop body awareness and enhance technical precision in dance. Through targeted improvisation methods, technical elements are dynamically and playfully explored, variations and combinations are developed, and established movement patterns are consciously broken. Another key aspect of the workshop is constructive feedback, which supports both technical and creative growth.

Workshops with Nadav Zelner and Bruno Genty as well as performances from the NRW Junior Ballet from Theater Dortmund with pieces from Alexander Ekman, Marco Goecke and Xin Peng Wang are also part of the FREI ART FESTIVAL – Spring Edition.
