Where: CEART, San Luis Potosí, México

When: 7 – 18 October 2019

Deadline for applications: 6 October 2019

We present you the #ExtranaMente residency with the experimental theater company The Stranger (Korea) and Hekatômbe (Mexico) that will take place at the emblematic CEART, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
From 7 to 18 October, you will learn Extreme Strange theatrical method, Bongsan Talchum (traditional Korean dance) and movement skills for the immersive experience with Hekatômbe female artists.

“The Stranger” try to solve our stories of living in society in a form closer to reality. Our plays experiment in various ways. We are not always tied to traditional customs and formats in order to be unfamiliar and new to the audience. In addition to the theater, we play in a variety of places such as toilets, outdoor, SNS live, etc. to break down the boundaries between daily life and theater.

Hekatômbe is a contemporary arts production group, lead by women with the aim of creating collaboration bridges, interdisciplinary creations, intercultural exchanges and communitary development. We’ve collaborated with Vittoria de Ferrari, Damien Jalet, Delfos Danza Contemporanea, Skandalisi Dance, Fresh Festival San Francisco, Zappulla DMN and more.
