Mr Perry’s class introduces a fresh and open approach to the study of traditional ballet vocabulary combined with Perry’s recent original repertory. The ballet portion of the class eloquently fuses the different elements of ballet, from correct placement and alignment to the utmost in technical execution, coordination, musicality and phrasing. Students participating in the workshop will benefit from learning Peridance Contemporary Dance Company repertory taught directly by Mr Perry. The class is designed for professional dancers who are looking to advance their technical ability, freedom of movement and artistic voice.
“Igal Perry is a master at his craft; he is an artist unafraid to explore, to stretch himself in how he approaches and uses the body in space. Mr Perry’s choreography displays maturity. His devotion to his craft and his attention to music is evident in Infinity that together created a sense of serenity, a nod to the divine.”
