Humanhood Intensive in London.

Where:
Sadler’s Wells, Rosebery Ave, Clerkenwell, London EC1R 4TN, UK

When: Sunday, 27th May 2018 from 10am to 2pm

Rudi and Julia, former dancers at Akram Khan & Jasmin Vardimon companies, and founders of Humanhood company, will be leading one day intensive in London.

The session will be focused into 2 parts:
The first will be the ever evolving HumanhoodPractice, the teaching methodology and movement training of Humanhood company.
Inspired by Qi-gong and Tai-chi practices, together with Humanhood’s movement vocabulary, the sessions are focused on the centred & creative state of mind, fluid and grounded movements, breath, rhythm and continuous circular motion.
This practice is the base from which Rudi and Julia create the movement language of the company and the dance material of Humanhood’s productions. This first session will be accompanied by a mix of recorded and blissful live music by electro-acoustic duo: E.I.F.

The second part of the workshop will be focused on the application and detail of Humanhood’s movement quality and aesthetic, learning repertoire from the company’s past works as well as having an insight into the physical world of their first group production ‘Torus’.
