The Head of Academic Administration & Compliance will manage all relevant processes to ensure effective and robust academic administration, policy management, quality assurance and enhancement, to support the School’s delivery of world-leading education and training in dance. They will contribute to the achievement of the strategic aims of the organisation, especially in relation to academic provision and the student experience.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, Principal & Artistic Director, they will:

Manage, review and implement all student-related policies and procedures and provide staff and students with related guidance and advice.

Develop and implement the School’s internal quality assurance framework.

Ensure the School’s compliance with relevant external quality assurance requirements and the conditions of registration with the Office for Students (OfS).

Develop an evidence-based approach to quality assurance to enable the School to discharge ongoing external accountabilities.

Academic Administration, including the creation of the Annual Course Monitoring Report (ACMR) and servicing the Academic Quality & Standards Board (AQSB).

Manage student casework, working with external parties on complex cases, as required.

Manage the School’s approach to risk management, including risk assessments and the Risk Register.

Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Prevent.

Data Management, Recording and Reporting for External Purposes.
