The Gervasi Tanz Company organizes 4 workshop auditions for dancers between 15 May and 08 July 2023.
In the context of the workshop-auditions the Tanz Company Gervasi, under the artistic direction of Elio Gervasi, will select 5 dancers (M/F) with a solid technical background and experience in improvisation to participate in the new production with premiere in Fall 2023 in Vienna.
Work period: August, September through mid-October 2023
Where: Barbarano Romano (near Rome, Italy)

Our workshops provide a unique opportunity to live in a medieval Borgo nestled in the heart of a rural region. This ancient village offers an atmosphere of serenity, perfect for concentrating on the workshops. The workshops are held in the deconsecrated baroque church of Sant Angelo, which serves as the cultural center of Barbarano. The cool environment allows for comfortable work even on hot days, and the location of the participants’ accommodations just a few tens of meters away ensures easy access to the workshop venue.
We are dedicated to ensuring that all participants enjoy their stay in Barbarano and have the best conditions to learn and improve their dance skills. Additionally, our workshops provide an excellent opportunity to form new friendships and share artistic perspectives with participants from diverse backgrounds and continents.
