Composer Fu Ping Lee and choreographer Caldonia Walton are looking for three London based dancers or physical theatre performers for an upcoming 2 week R&D project in North London.
The R&D will be a collaborative exploration in devising music/sound and choreography simultaneously in the studio. The process will explore family relationships around illness, loss and grief through music, movement and theatre.
Looking for performers who have experience devising dance/physical theatre work, using contact improvisation and creating character through movement. They must feel comfortable improvising with text and using their voice.
Seeking performers who can play the following roles:
Mother – aged 40 +
Daughter – aged 25 – 35
Son – aged 21 – 30
Dates will be a combination of 2 of the following, dependant on performer availability:
– December 13th-17th
– Jan 3rd – 7th
– February – 14th -18th
Fee £1200 (£600 p/w)
Auditions held in North London on 4/12/21.
Possible alternative dates could be offered dependant on schedules.
