Our Women Before Us Present: Still Life, A Transdisciplinary Workshop and Performance. Participants will work across various artistic mediums to create a cohesive performance piece which will be presented as part of Still Life June 27-29th at Gibney Dance.

The workshop will be led by Kathleen Dalton (LMSW), Danielle Muzina, (MFA, Professor at Murray State University), Sonja Petermann (BFA), and Megan Pinto, (MFA)
Workshop : May 25th 2019 9am-12pm, lunch break 12-1, 1pm-5pm
Rehearsal: June 8th 2019 10am- 1pm
Performances: June 26th (evening technical rehearsal 6-9pm), June 27th 7-9:
**participants must attend both the workshop and rehearsal to participate in the performance, rehearsal locations will be communicated to registered participants, performances to take place at The Theatre at Gibney Dance, 280 Broadway (Entrance at 53A Chambers St.)
Our Women Before Us is a collective composed of Megan Pinto, (playwright and poet), Danielle Muzina, (painter and poet), Sonja Petermann, (printmaker and dancer), and Kathleen Dalton, (choreographer and social worker). The collective teaches transdisciplinary arts workshops and creates immersive fine art and performance installation projects. Most recently, the collective created an exhibit for Cleveland, Ohio’s Rooms to Let Festival and collaborated to produce Pinto’s play ‘Winter In Eden’ which was seen at Dixon Place this past May.

Interested participants should apply by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with a statement of their interest and a work sample by May 1st, 2019. Applications will be accepted from young adults ages 18-24. The workshop is free.
