Frame Rush 2022 is back!
Focusing on movement and sound, this edition explores the definition of the continuously emerging genre of screendance as an immersive sensory experience.
Each year, Frame Rush is handed over to a new cohort of artists on the MA Screendance at London Contemporary Dance School to create their vision for the event and celebrate, challenge or question the field of screendance.
The 2022 cohort invites you to submit short films that focus on the relationship between movement and sound and how this communicates an intention with the audience.
We strive to make our event as inclusive as possible, and actively welcome films created by and representing all backgrounds, specifically marginalised communities. Frame Rush also accepts submissions from students.
Frame Rush 2022 will return to The Place, London, on Friday 20 May 2022.
The festival is run by the postgraduate students of the world’s only MA in Screendance. If you would like to apply for the MA Screendance, including a chance to run this event for a year, visit https://www.lcds.ac.uk/ma-screendance.
We look forward to seeing your work and hope to see you at the festival!
