We will investigate different ways of using the floor, working on different qualities of movement, dynamics, space, etc, in order to know the limits of the body, and to be able to express actions reaching different states.

We will start by awakening the body with breathing exercises, working from the joints towards the movement, using a scale of 0 to 10, to be able to flow and unify the breath with the movement in a natural way.
We will continue investigating and looking for different ways of using the floor, working on different qualities of movement, dynamics, space, etc, in order to know the limits of the body, and to be able to express actions reaching different states.
In the second part of the workshop, we will work mainly on improvisation and contact with a defined concept, in order to be able to investigate and develop other interpretive facets such as voice, theatricality, and body sounds with different states. This process will create a space of sensations, with connection as the central point, and the main objective of the work.
Fabian Thomé is the director & choreographer of full time company, and a teacher and former dancer of Eastman company with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
