Joss Carter’s ‘FLESH & BONE’ practice focuses on exhausting the body through self disciplined technical and creative concepts that aim to construct, demolish and distort the anatomy in a radical approach to primitive, classical and contemporary movement, emotion & theatricality. Through the use of imagery we will explore the beauty within the grotesque, discovering vibrations in the body, expanding & shrinking the kinesphere, and the extremes in tension and relaxation energised by a conscious breath. Joss’ classes are based around a social anarchism, empowering individualism and aiming to strip the ego to enhance the mental, physical and spiritual health of each participant. This class will naturally evolve into the conceptual and choreographic explorations of Joss’ creative processes
