Where: Casa Del Moviment, Barcelona, Spain

When: April 25 until 28 April 2022 | From 11:00 – 14:30

Deadline for applications: April 23rd 2022

Fieldwork is a movement method designed to get people out of their minds, into their bodies and tuned to the space they inhabit in order to facilitate creative ease within a group. The method integrates elements of dance, yoga and meditation, inviting the participant to connect to a sense of vibrancy in the body while increasing our awareness of our surroundings. We ground into the moment through breathing exercises and visualizations, we activate the bodies in a series of exercises from small and specific to explosive and physically rigorous, and finally we connect to the larger space in group improvisational work through which participants gain tools to sharpen their instant composition skills and gain confidence in collaborating with others through physical play.

Open to all levels, the more diverse the group, the better.
