Exploring the themes of time, timing and tempo through multiple modes of listening: consciously, physically, intuitively; we deepen our connection with our own musicality within our compositions and dances. Appreciating dynamics inside musical compositions such as linear development, atmosphere, and singular punctuation; the work aims to create a vibrant sense of musicality within our choreographic materials. We will be integrating touch, detail – articulation, flow, momentum, and pace in our sessions. Following the musicality they evoke, we encounter the complementary, playful, and urgent interplay between physical motion, music, and dance.
