Elevate Your Artistic Practice

This comprehensive program offers an immersive dive into creative exploration, professional development, and collaboration. Led by Dance//Novella’s esteemed leaders, Brandon Lee Alley, former Ballet BC member and current Kidd Pivot artist, and Racheal Prince, former member of Ballet BC and Alberta Ballet, participants will engage in a transformative week-long experience designed to enhance their skills and better position them for opportunities in the dance industry.

To ensure accessibility, we are proud to offer a limited number of BIPOC scholarships and flexible payment plans to help overcome financial barriers.

What’s Included:
Daily Classes: Contemporary or Improvisation- tailored to refine your technique and artistry.

Solo Performance: Learn two solos during the week. At the program’s end, have one solo professionally filmed with stage lighting—ideal for auditions or portfolios.

Collaborative Creation: Work with fellow participants on an original piece to be performed and professionally filmed during the final showcase. Friends and family are invited to attend the performance on Sunday, August 10th!

Selection Process:
We welcome dancers aged 18 and older who are seeking professional development opportunities to advance their journey as professional dance artists.

Deadline:
Applications are due by June 15, 2025. Please note that spots will be offered within one week of receiving your application, and the application period will close as soon as all places have been filled.
