FoRest is a 3-day residential laboratory that integrates dance, hiking, active meditation and coexistence in nature. A sensitive and conscious encounter based on care, creative intimacy and ritual manifestation.
The retreat will take place in the ravine and beach of Guy Guy, stunning natural jewels in the west of the island of Gran Canaria,
accessible only by foot or by boat.
FoRest is a gentle invitation for movers, artists, thinkers and anyone who is drawn to a shared field of mindfulness, dance exploration and rest in a natural paradise.
As we advance in our journey, we will share exercises that will nurture the environment and help us to raise our vital energy, thus deepening the existential space we occupy in nature.
There will be specific times during the day for personal creative work, rest and sharing of participants’ realities and necessities.
This journey is open to people who want to experience dance, the art of walking and interaction in nature as healing and creative processes.
The laboratory enhances the intuitive perception of the body, the potential of instinct, uncertainties, atmospheres, visions, and transformation processes. We will try to reach places where material, spiritual and lived experiences merge in a continuous unfolding.
The core group will consist of five people who will walk, live and create together for 3 days and 2 nights in nature.
Flights: we advise you to arrive and leave one or two days before and after FoRest, in order to explore this wonderful island on your own.
