East London Dance and the London College of Fashion Arts Programme are delighted to offer choreographers and emerging practitioners the opportunity to take part in the Creative Lab 2018.
Creative Lab brings together a select group of costume designers, choreographers and creative technologists to investigate how physical computing, mixed and virtual reality and e-textiles can inform practice when combined with dance and choreography.
This 6 day intensive programme starts with presentations, workshops and experimentation in the Digital Learning Lab and Arcade East spaces at Mare Street. Participants can then form smaller groups to develop their ideas further with the help of our workshop leaders.
This call is also open to emerging choreographers and technologists with an interest in exploring the possibilities of technology and collaborative working practices, as well as UAL students and alumni from backgrounds in fashion and costume, media production and interactive design subjects.
“Access to that breath of creatives, technicians, and technology is not typical and the freedom we were given to explore was really supportive and inspiring” Creative Lab 2017 participant
