Chloé Beillevaire and Steven Chotard invites you for 5 challenging days exploring floorwork, acrobatic elements, and physical theatre research focused on presence, physicality, and storytelling through movement !

Rooted in their respective artistic journeys — influenced by Ultima Vez for chloé and the universe of Claude Brumachon and Benjamin Lamarche for steven — as well as their shared experience within backsteinhaus produktion, this 5-day workshop invites dancers into an intense exploration of floorwork, physical theatre and embodied interpretation.
Through dynamic technical training, guided improvisation, and choreographic research, participants will explore how movement can become a powerful language of presence, emotion and intention.
Mornings will focus on floorwork technique and movement principles such as momentum, spirals, suspension, release, jumps, and fluid transitions. The practice combines physicality, precision, and acrobatic elements to develop availability, coordination, and freedom in movement.
Afternoons will be dedicated to performative research and interpretation. through composition tasks and directed creative processes, participants will deepen their connection to movement quality, theatrical presence, and physical storytelling. The focus will be on building meaningful choreographic material and discovering how the body can communicate beyond words.
this workshop is designed for dancers and performers who wish to challenge their physicality, enrich their expressive range, and engage in an immersive collective experience where movement becomes both visceral and poetic.
