Danse élargie is a competition open to artists from all over the world, from every artistic field, without age limit, to introduce utterly original projects to be staged at Théâtre de la Ville in Paris on 15 & 16 June 2024.

Anyone can apply / anything can happen.
Only two rules: a maximum of 10 minutes / a minimum of 3 performers on stage.

Since 2010, initiated by Boris Charmatz, then director of the Musée de la danse, Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, director of the Théâtre de la Ville and the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès, Danse élargie has seen the emergence of artists who are now widely recognized. The adventure continues with two new partners: the CNDC –  Angers, directed by Noé Soulier, and the Comédie de Valence, CDN Drôme-Ardèche, directed by Marc Lainé.

To all emerging artists, come dare anything that dances, in the broadest sense of the term, and imagine future movements! 
More than just a competition, Danse élargie is a federative and joyful event, a celebration of ideas.

Applications will be opened until January 3, 2024, and the competition will take place on June 15 & 16, 2024 at the Théâtre de la Ville – Sarah Bernhardt in Paris.
