CALL for Dance Development Award for Early Years 2023
Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre is currently seeking submissions for a Dance Development Award from dance artists wishing to create work for very young audiences. The residency supports artists seeking an opportunity to research and develop their practices and to engage in dialogue with Uillinn and the local community. This is a non-accommodation residency with an offer of up to 12 days studio time between January and June 2023. The artist will receive a stipend of €1,500 towards their residency and will share their work with the public through a performance sharing/blogging/social media.

Submission Criteria – the application should include:-
The type of residency you wish to apply for – Research or Production or Dance Development
An up-to-date CV.
Images, video and weblinks of your work or other appropriate samples with relevant information.
A written proposal which clearly states the following:
-What you hope to achieve during your dance residency.
-The length of residency you’re interested in
-Preferred time of year
-Any specific ideas that you may have about ways to engage with the public, locality or the centre as a whole
