Bruno Guillore – Associate Artistic Director, Hofesh Shechter Company
Bruno Guillore is Associate Artistic Director of Hofesh Shechter Company and was one of its founding members. He has been a central figure in all of Hofesh’s creations, from Uprising and In Your Rooms to Double Murder, both as a performer and creative collaborator. He has danced in major works such as Political Mother, Survivor, Sun, and barbarians.
Before joining Hofesh Shechter Company, Bruno danced with Ballet Gulbenkian (Lisbon), Luzern Ballet, and Komische Oper Berlin. He has worked with choreographers including Beatriz Consuelo, Richard Wherlock, Paulo Ribeiro, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, Marie Chouinard, and Mauro Bigonzetti, among many others. He also appeared in the dance film Passengers by Richard Wherlock.
Bruno brings a wealth of experience in performance, rehearsal direction, and transmission of repertory, offering dancers a unique opportunity to engage with the physicality, intensity, and artistry of Hofesh’s language.
