British Council are offering a unique triple opportunity, with our partners at Unlimited, for UK D/deaf and disabled artists to participate in major conferences and a festival in Europe.
Where: European cities
When: October and November 2019
Deadline for applications: 22 July
As part of our mission to embed art made by disabled artists within the UK and international cultural sectors, we’re offering bursaries for D/deaf and disabled artists to join either one, two or three of the following events:
IETM Rejika (24–27 October 2019)
An international performing arts networking event in Croatia
No Limits Festival Berlin (7–16 November 2019)
An international theatre festival in Germany
IETM spring 2020 (dates and location to be confirmed)
An international performing arts networking event in a city in Europe
This is a chance to experience the cultural conversations taking place across Europe, develop new networks, experience international work, and to share information about your own practice.
This is the seventh time we’ve offered these bursaries to underrepresented groups, helping to reflect the diversity of the UK on the world stage. As well as bursaries to attend the events, we will provide access support through our partners in this programme, Unlimited.
