Belgrade Dance Institute announces enrolment of students for the first year of accredited undergraduate Artistic Dance academic studies for the school year 2023/24.
The BA modules are Contemporary dance, Choreography, Classical ballet pedagogy, Contemporary dance pedagogy.

When: September 18th to September 20th 2023.

Deadline for applications: September 15th, 2023.

The entrance examination consists of a studio technique component, a general knowledge, and an English language proficiency test.
The studio technique entrance examination includes the following:
• Contemporary dance exam includes floor, center, and improvisation exercises (the Professor assigns the improvisation);
• Choreography exam includes a max. three-minute-long choreography with a short description (the candidate can choose whether to perform it himself/herself; provides the music and everything he/she needs for the choreography);
• Pedagogy candidates need to have completed secondary ballet school education; barre and center exercises, allegro and pointe work exercises;
• Contemporary Pedagogy exam includes floor, center, and improvisation exercises (the Professor assigns the improvisation);

Entrance Exams

1. Admissions for Ballet Pedagogy 18.09. at 11:00 a.m. in the hall of the New Studio;
2. Admissions for Contemporary Dance and Contemporary Dance Pedagogy 19.09. at 11:00 a.m. in the New Studio;
3. Admissions for Choreography 19.09. at 1 p.m. in the hall in the New Studio;
4. Admission for the National Dance on 20.09. at 4:00 p.m. in studio 307;
5. Test of general culture 20.09. at 1:00 pm in classroom 329;
6. English language test 20.09. at 2:00 p.m. in classroom 329. (duration of the test is 45 minutes).

Before taking the entrance exam, the candidate pays the amount of 50,00 EUR to the faculty account for the costs of holding the exam.

Preparatory courses for undergraduate studies enrollment:
The Belgrade Dance Institute will be organizing preparatory courses for the entrance examinations for undergraduate studies in the following departments: Contemporary Dance, Ballet Pedagogy, and Contemporary Dance Pedagogy.

The preparatory courses will take place from September 11th to September 15th, 2023.

The schedule for the preparatory courses will be announced at a later date.

Applications should be sent to the email: teodora.zivkovic@iui.rs. The attendance fee for the preparatory courses for all departments is 100,00 EUR.

Entrance exams will be held from September 18th to 20th, 2023., while preparatory classes and consultations will be held from September 11th to 15th, 2023.

The application deadline is September 15th, 2023.

The receipt of documents is done until September 18th, 2023. in the student service of the faculty.

The ranking list of admitted candidates will be published on September 25th 2023. on the faculty’s website.

Enrollment of candidates who have passed the entrance exam will be done from September 25th to 28th, 2023. at the student service of the faculty.

After completing this level of study, the student acquires the title of Dramatic and Audiovisual Artist – Artistic Performance (180 ESPB points).
