Balletto Monson is seeking a dynamic Associate Choreographer & Rehearsal Director to join our creative team. This dual role is ideal for an experienced dance professional with a strong choreographic vision and the ability to lead rehearsals with precision and artistry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop and stage new and existing repertory.
• Choreograph original works and contribute to the artistic evolution of the company.
• Lead rehearsals, ensuring technical excellence and artistic integrity.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to dancers, refining their performance quality.
• Assist in planning and organizing rehearsal schedules.
• Maintain a supportive and inspiring rehearsal environment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a choreographer and rehearsal director in a professional dance company.
• Strong background in both Classical and Contemporary styles.
• Ability to work creatively within Balletto Monson’s unique artistic identity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in coaching and developing professional dancers.
